Their Future (Rewrite)

Summary

Set several months after the events of Sora wo Miageru Shojo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai (Munto TV), a mostly canon-compliant continuation of Yumemi and Munto’s story.

Author’s Forward

This story was originally published across three works – The Future They Opened (2015), The Future They Explored (2016), and The Future They Shaped (2017), which were known collectively as Their Future. Despite multiple attempts to complete the series, it remained unfinished. At the same time, I completed a separate story, Reaching Across the Milky Way (2012-2020), a 170k+ novel fic I desperately wanted to edit/revise, despite having moved on from the central pairing.

Fast forward to 2024: I figured out where I want this story to go. To that end, I am rewriting Their Future and incorporating elements from Milky Way into two longer form stories: The Future They Shared and Reaching Across Time and Space.

Individual scenes or sections will be released first on my Tumblr Blog: Bigimotik Writes
Expect 500-1500 words.

Every 3-5 sections will be aggregated into chapters, which will be posted to Archive of our Own
